Under the patronage of the Honorable President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, the respected Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad.
A training course was held at the College of Dentistry entitled: (Direct Dental Implants).
Delivered by:
1- Specialist physician (Dr. Aqeel Al-Khanfar) Diwaniyah Health./Second Specialized Center.
2- M.M. Zahraa Rahim Al-Zamili.
The goal of dental implants is to replace missing teeth, restoring function as well as aesthetics. Dental implants are conservative, as missing teeth can be replaced without affecting or changing adjacent teeth. Furthermore, because dental implants are integrated into the bone structure, they are very stable and can have the look and feel of natural teeth.
The course recommends that the best option to replace missing teeth should be dental implants, taking into account the health of the gums, and expediting the placement of the implant shortly after its loss in order to protect bone atrophy in the place of the missing tooth and avoid the lateral teeth being tilted and thus lost.
