Abstract

In this research, a theoretical study was made to calculate electronic stopping power by using Bohr equation, Bethe equation and then calculate it by depending on close collisions and distant collisions and the equation which resulting from distant and close collisions for alpha particles which interact with with organic compounds (C3H6, C16H14O3, C10H8O4, C2H4O, CH2O C3H3N, C6H9NO,C4H6O2, C22H16N2O5 andC44H36O6)] the results are compared with program SRIM2012,which it showed a good agreement with it.

Where was calculated electronic stopping power of organic compounds using Bragg´s rule heavy charged particles when they pass in the same organic compounds.

The theoretical calculation for electronic stopping power for all alpha particles through the organic compounds are done with in energy range (0.01-1000 MeV)

A mathematical approximative methods are used in the calculation and some of equation programmed by Matlab language to obtain the theoretical result which are shown in graphic.
