The College of Veterinary Medicine / Al-Qadisiyah University Organized a discussion on the use of zylazine and ketamine in general anesthesia in sheep.

The Department of Surgery and Obstetrics in the college of Veterinary Medicine / University of Qadisiyah held a seminar entitled (Use of zylazine and ketamine in general anesthesia in sheep).

Objectives :
1 – Identification of anesthetics used in general anesthesia in sheep.
2 – Mode of work of each narcotic drug.
3 – Method of administration of narcotic drug.

Summary :
Provision of general anesthesia room for intravenous surgical procedures and use of ketamine and zylazine mixture in sheep.

Recommendations:
1. Use of injection methods in general anesthesia TIVA.
2 – use of partial injection methods piva.
3 – Prepare an anesthetic program that is more appropriate than modern anesthetics.

This workshop was held in Hall No. (1) in the college and was presented by Ali Ismail Jassim.
