The department of anatomy at the college of Veterinary Medicine/the University of Qadisiya held a seminar titled Anatomy and histology for the uterus of pigeon.
Objective of the workshop: –
was to compare the form of uterine composition in different bird species including pigeons, and study the change in the size and shape of the uterus in the cessation of reproduction and in the reproduction period

It was observed that the diameter of the uterus at first was small but quickly expanded into a thick brown muscle bag. The length of the uterus was at the cessation (1.35 + 0.07) while in the egg laying phase it was 3.2 +
Recommendations:
A study of the histological chemistry of the uterus and the observation that occurs during the presence of eggs, and study the stages of the formation of the cortex
