The Continuing Education Unit at the college of Veterinary Medicine /Al-Qadisiyah University held a course for the staff and teachers of the College in better using of the Arabic language.
Objective of the session: –
1- Identify the common mistakes of spelling and eliminate them.
2 – identify some grammatical and spelling topics for the correct use of the tongue the language.
3 – identify errors in the official administrative paperwork in order to avoid them.
Summary :
This course was held over two days:
The first day: It addressed the following:
1 – writing the intermediate and end “Hamza”.
2 – the effect of movements in the change of meaning.
3 – Some common language mistakes.
4- The difference between the five nouns and the five verbs
5 – some grammatical topics such as starter and news and what is included in talking about two or group of things.
The presenter was Dr. Ali Abdul Roumi.
The second day: It dealt with the errors that occur in the official paperwork as well as how to formulate them grammatically.
The presenter was Dr. Salah Hassoun al-Obeidi.
Recommendations:
1- continuously organizing these courses to improve the level of language usage for faculty members
2 – Print some language notes and handed them out to the staff members to get the benefit out of them.
This session was held in Hall No. (4) in the College and was attended by the Dean of the College, teachers and staff of the College.
