Surgery and Obstetrics established a branch in the College of Veterinary Medicine / University Kadsahhalqh discussion entitled (artificial insemination in turkeys and the prospects for increased production).
The workshop aims to introduce the process of artificial insemination in turkeys; they are distributed worldwide experience in some neighboring countries such as Turkey and Iran, as well as to publicize ways of artificial insemination followed universally appropriate for the Iraqi environment.
The IVF process is a collection of seminal fluid of male and mitigation process and the vaccination of several females do, therefore, be a feasible process. This method is difficult and accurate as required accuracy, practice and professionalism of my work. The acquisition of this expertise will greatly facilitate the process of artificial insemination in turkeys prepared by the operating companies in this field (trade secret) because it relates to methods and the abundance of produce.
The adoption of an Iraqi way derived from multiple foreign expertise is a synonym for the production of the national poultry.
Results :
1. Experience has shown that the use of this method is successful in Iraq and an eye-catching, and with a positive impact in raising the production ratio.

Recommendations:

This seminar came up with the following recommendations:
1. call for the expansion of breeding turkeys, because the poultry industry in Iraq has become facing difficulties related diseases and the cost of production, so it can go to the breeding turkeys synonymous to the poultry industry in Iraq.
2. The expansion of the use of artificial insemination in turkeys; it leads to increased production significantly from the traditional way.
