Reference to what came copywriters and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research v m 3/2/6727 on 13.12.2016, and at the direction of the Deanship of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, in its letter 138 09.01.2017, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine has established an awareness seminar on the importance of volunteer work.
The objective of this seminar is to introduce students to work voluntary, and rules, and benefits.
The seminar included the following two axes:
– First: voluntary work in Islam, has included several sections including:
– Define the concept of volunteer work.
– The legality of volunteer work and its place in Islam.
– Incentive to volunteer work in Islam.
This detective has contained a number of important points that constitute the starting point for the work of the voluntary among students, Kalaaat Quranic honest conversations that encourage volunteer work, and give examples of the volunteer work of the Holy Prophet (r), which is setting an example for all to follow guiding, as well as examples of volunteer work of Imam Ali (AS) that are in the service of society.
This axis MD Ali Abd al-Rumi teaching has lectured at the college.
– The second axis: the basics and motives of voluntary work.
This theme has contains several important points, including: the basis for the volunteer work, and the motives that help to do voluntary work, and show two short films for volunteer work.
This axis has lectured Am Abbas Fadhil Daham teaching at the college.
Results: of the most important findings have this seminar:
1. laid the foundations for a clear definition of volunteer work and define its objectives.
2. The volunteer work, especially for the youth segment, including students, helps to build nations.
3. Focus on the Islamic religion is a religion of volunteer work.
Recommendations:
1. the establishment of other seminars in the same direction dealing with other aspects of volunteer work.
2. exhorted the students to do volunteer work campaigns ranging from scientific faculties and their departments, and the end of society.
3. honoring outstanding students in the leadership of volunteer work, to be induced and striking of the importance of volunteer work.
4. The introduction of the benefits and the advantages of voluntary work within the curriculum, in order to become part of the intake of knowledge of the pupil, and thus reflect positively on the society.
