| Abstract : The present studing aimed to test the role of banking branches in the economic growth of a sample of banks listed in the Iraqi market for securities and its impact on economic growth As well as to identify the Financial indicators the variables of studing. The sampling study consisted of the banks listed in the Iraqi Stock Exchange of (35) private bank for a period of 6 years (1/1/2011 – 31/12/2016) Statistical methods were used (correlation in Spearman’s method, linear regression) and the financial indicators of (Growth rate of banking density, percentage of growth of banking spread, percentage growth of branches) Through the statistical program (SPSS V.23,and Excel 2016) to test the hypotheses of the study The main objecations of the study were the absence of a relationship of the impact of Banking branch in economic growth.
